History
The NWI office was established and opened in 2008. We are pleased to be a part of the nationwide team of Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation headquartered in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. The company, celebrating
almost 15 years of growth, was founded in 1996 by Steve Jacobson and Dean Anderson
and now has 90 branches and more than 1,000 employees nationwide! Lending volume for Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation has
progressively increased from $1 billion in 2001 to a company record of $3.94 billion in 2010. We are on track to do even better in 2011.
Being part of a larger organization provides us with the systems and the culture needed to grow in the residential mortgage finance industry. Branch offices, like ours, operate autonomously for day-to-day operations but follow established corporate guidelines while benefiting from economies of scale through support in the areas of personnel, accounting,
compliance and technology. Because of this, we are able to offer the reliability of a large company and the friendly, personal touch of a locally owned business.
